SFWA* TN Concealed Only Handgun Carry Permit In-Person Course on Saturday, February 08th, 2025

*SFWA operates solely on donations, and most students who attend graciously donate so that others may benefit from our "softer side of shooting" approach. Often, other for profit entities will sponsor SFWA courses.

SFWA "softer side of shooting" sensitive classes are in huge demand and fill up to capacity quickly. To assure a seat in the class of your choosing, we are offering "confirmed seats" for those who make an advance non-refundable donation of only $28 per person.

We sincerely wish that everyone who wants to attend our class has a chance to do so at your earliest convenience!

A few notables:

EACH person must register separately, and each person who registers must use a different (unique) email address. In other words, you cannot register two or more people using one email address.

If for any reason you can not attend and have a "confirmed seat", you may email us to attend an alternative class date, or transfer your confirmed seat to another person.

if you are interested in learning to shoot AFTER the completion of your permit course, let us know the day of your class.

If you plan to shoot, you must wear HIGH-NECKED SHIRTS/BLOUSES/TOPS as the empty casings, when ejected from the guns, fly up into the air and can find their way between your skin and clothing and (OUCH!) burn you. For the same reason, please DO NOT wear open-toed shoes (i.e., no sandals, flip-flops, etc.). You must wear THICK/LOOSE PANTS as the hot casings can be felt through tight pants (i.e., no leggings, yoga pants, etc.). Anyone dressed inappropriately may not participate and will lose their donation. The range requires that all students taking the carry course pay a $12 range fee on the day of the class to the range which includes your qualification target and eye and ear protection for use on the range during the class. The range is designed specifically for women and their families and you will love it!

You are welcome to bring a snack if you like. The course is typically abour 3-hours long.

We encourage ladies NOT to purchase a firearm until after attending the class as students will be exposed to a number of different styles and calibers of firearms which is priceless in firearm selection for concealed carry. Class students may use SFWA firearms for live-fire training after completion of the class at the range at NO CHARGE. Ammunition may be purchased in advance or at the range. Please note that NO reloaded cartridges are allowed.
