Lasers help improve your confidence in an instant and makes shooting accurately easier in low light were sight acquisition is essential.
Lasers offer civilians added confidence when shooting in self defense and a multitude of dry-fire
and live-fire practice opportunities, and in low-light, too!
This is the 6th course you should take
"Don't let others discourage you from enjoying the benefits of a laser-equipped handgun because you may 'give away' your position when you chose to activate a laser in a personal defense situation . . . that may be the least of your concern . . . learn why civilians can benefit greatly from a laser-equipped handgun. Plus, those who are new to shooting will increase accuracy and confidence quickly with the benefits of this course!"—Susan Romanov, SFWA Founder
If your handgun is not already equipped with a laser, you will want one after participating in this course. Watch your level of trigger control and precision shooting abilities rapidly increase, as well as your comfort level in pulling the trigger when only seconds count. SFWA's Handgun Laser Tips and Techniques is a comprehensive "hands-on" course designed to increase accuracy, confidence and performance with a handgun in low light conditions, too. BRING your handgun(s) if they are laser equipped or if you want to determine the best laser product for your specific make and model. If you are considering the benefits of a laser, and have not decided to purchase one or not, you will be able to use our handguns equipped with lasers to help you make an educated decision for your own abilities and needs.
Installation of aftermarket lasers will be demonstrated. Dry fire exercises in the classroom as well as tips on correcting shooting errors using firearms with both factory equipped and aftermarket lasers bring the benefits of carrying a laser equipped handgun to light for even an experienced shooter. (*Students will be able to purchase a laser for a handgun at a SFWA exclusive discount rate.)
Lasers are a girl’s best friend when it comes to point and shoot techniques and the ability to identify the exact point that the bullet will hit from virtually any position—rather than trying to successfully "acquire" a safe sight picture by using traditional front sight and rear sight alignment under duress.
This course will help you improve your shooting skills as well as equip you for laser precision. Installation of aftermarket lasers will be demonstrated. Dry fire exercises in the classroom as well as tips on correcting shooting errors using firearms with both factory equipped and aftermarket lasers bring the benefits of carrying a laser equipped handgun to light for even an experienced shooter.
I was very concerned that being new to shooting a handgun would be a problem for me in a self defense situation, but this class helped me overcome that fear. A laser is definitely for me!
I do not see close up as well as I used to and this course helped me decide to add a laser to my handgun. I feel much more confident should my eyes not perform for me when my life is in danger. Although, they made it very clear that lasers are a tool and should not be used without first learning to use traditional handgun sights!
My family has many law enforcement officers and veterans and even they agree that a laser for me as a civilian is a good idea . . . not only in low light but for practice, too. After all, the bad guy already knows where I am if I am attacked!
